As for the apps, it doesn't save them at all, it just saves and apk file so you lose all your data since it only saves the app itself and quite stupidly discards everything else. The only photos it saves are the ones in your DCIM folder, meaning mostly only the photos you have taken with your camera and some random screenshots or messenger/viber photos and the same goes for videos so if you have downloaded photos and videos from the internet or if you moved your files to a different location they are not backed up.
